Russia Records Increased NATO Intelligence Activity
Recently, the number of NATO aviation flights near Russia's borders has increased by 30 percent. According to Lenta.ru, this increase in intelligence activity from the North Atlantic Alliance has been noted by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu. He stated that NATO aircraft have begun conducting training flights simulating airstrikes towards Russian territory.
The head of the military department emphasized that from August 23 to September 2, Russian aircraft have taken to the air at least 10 times to intercept reconnaissance planes in the skies over the Baltic, Barents, and Black Seas.
