Citizen Injured on the Road to 'Lastiver'

On September 5, at 11:03 a.m., the regional crisis management center received a report that a citizen had fallen and injured their leg on the road leading to the 'Lastiver' recreation area near the village of Enokavan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has stated that a firefighting and rescue crew from the Tavush regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. Due to the difficult terrain of the road, the rescuers proceeded on foot for approximately 200 meters.

The rescuers reached the injured individual, identified as 61-year-old Yerjanik K., and escorted them to a rescue vehicle, which then transported them to an ambulance. The victim was subsequently hospitalized at the Ijevan Medical Center, where medical staff assessed their condition as satisfactory.
