Dramatic Footage: Man Uses Force Against Pharmacy Employee and Robs Store in Davtashen

On August 26, a robbery occurred at one of the pharmacies in the Davtashen neighborhood. A man entered the pharmacy, pushed the employee from behind, stole cash from the register, and fled the scene.

Upon receiving a report of the incident, the operational group of the Mashtots Police Department immediately rushed to the scene. They examined what was stolen and spoke with the victim. The perpetrator was wearing a sports cap and a mask, making it impossible to see his face.

In an effort to identify the unknown individual and recover the stolen property, the police took urgent measures. Investigators from the Yerevan City Police Department joined the efforts to solve the case. Based on the facts gathered at the scene and received information, it was determined that the robbery might have been committed by a 30-year-old resident of Sisian.

On August 29, officers from the Yerevan City Police Department discovered the suspect on Andranik Street and brought him into custody at the Mashtots Police Department. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The detained man has confessed to the crime and has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
