VIDEO: Forest Fires in Russia's Rostov Region Claim Lives

The area affected by forest fires in Russia's Rostov region has expanded, reaching 170 hectares. As a result of the fire, two people have lost their lives. One of the victims is an 85-year-old resident of the "Zamchalovo" farm, whose home has been completely destroyed, according to life.ru.

The identity of the second victim has not yet been established; firefighters discovered bone remains in a private house at one of the farms in the Tazinsky district. According to the local administration of the Kovalyevsky rural settlement, a total of 26 structures have burned, including 11 residential houses that were completely consumed by the flames.

An emergency regime has been declared in three districts of Rostov region: Tarasovsky, Kamensky, and Krasnosulinsky.
