Video: A 39-Year-Old Man Killed in Karmiraghbyur Village, Suspect Arrested

On August 31, at 3:25 a.m., a citizen called the police to report that a man had been killed in the Melian neighborhood of the Upper Karmiraghbyur settlement. This was confirmed by the Armenian police.

The operational group of the Tavush division of the police discovered the body of 39-year-old Avetik Abgaryan in the yard of a private house, with multiple injuries.

Through immediate operational measures, law enforcement officials determined that on the same day, around 2 a.m., during a dispute, a 35-year-old resident of Yerevan had assaulted Avetik Abgaryan with punches and kicks, leading to his death. The suspect was apprehended and arrested.

The circumstances of the case are being clarified, and examinations have been appointed. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
