«Norq» Infectious Clinical Hospital Renamed to National Center for Infectious Diseases
As a result of reforms in the healthcare system, the «Norq» Infectious Clinical Hospital has been renamed to the National Center for Infectious Diseases.
The new center is the outcome of the merger between the former Ministry of Health’s «Norq» Infectious Clinical Hospital and the Republican Center for AIDS Prevention. The National Center for Infectious Diseases will operate under the Ministry of Health.
Reforms implemented and ongoing in the healthcare system will continue to benefit public health.
The National Center for Infectious Diseases is not just a merger of two healthcare institutions. It is aimed at achieving national objectives and realizing new and comprehensive ideas that create a new quality and development platform for the healthcare system, the center reports.
