Lukashenko Calls on Belarusians Not to Go Out into the Streets

I wouldn't say it's a disaster or an overly tense situation, but there are many problems that need to be resolved. Today we clearly see what is happening. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with members of the Security Council, according to BelTA.

“As we have said, the authors of all this are abroad. Those in the forefront are individuals with a criminal past. I cannot make demands on anyone today. I cannot because you see how the situation is developing. The only thing I ask of the minister and others is that we are all Slavs; if a person has fallen, one should not beat him. Yes, bruises will pass. Almost a hundred people have been injured. Is that what the OMON or the police should do? No, they went out to protect the citizens, yet they are being struck from behind,” said Lukashenko.

Lukashenko appealed to the people: “Do not go out into the streets! Understand that you and your children are being used. Aggression has already begun against our country— from Poland, from the Netherlands, from Ukraine, and notably from Russia and Navalny, and so on… Tell me, how should a soldier behave? Do you want me to sit and wait for Minsk to fall? That way, we won't stabilize the situation. Therefore, we must stop and allow us to restore order.”
