What Awaits Diana Galoyan: Gogyan Waits Impatiently

According to the daily newspaper 'Zhoghovourd', the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia is preparing to present the conclusion of the proceedings related to the scientific degree of Diana Galoyan, the rector of the University of Economics, in the near future. Our sources within the ministry report that the proceedings have been completed, and the process of forming a decision is now underway.

Recall that on July 17, the Supreme Certifying Commission of Armenia made a decision at its session to annul the decision to award Diana Galoyan a Doctor of Economics degree in the field of International Economics, a decision that Galoyan contested.

According to our information, the president of the Supreme Certifying Commission, Smbat Gogyan, is eagerly awaiting the outcome of these proceedings and is determined to ensure that Diana Galoyan is stripped of her doctoral degree. Furthermore, even when Gogyan was invited to participate in the proceedings alongside his lawyer, the lawyer was not allowed to be present in the process, leading him to leave the ministry without participating and later sending a written statement.

The public relations department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports informed us that the proceedings are now at the conclusion phase, but no further details could be provided. Meanwhile, Diana Galoyan did not respond to our phone calls throughout the day.
