Neither Azerbaijan nor Turkey Have Come to Terms with the Results of the Tavush Operations

According to Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the 'Henaket' analytical center and former advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, in a post on his Facebook page: 'After the military operations that unfolded in Tavush, there have been various intense visits between defense officials from Azerbaijan and Turkey. It is clear that neither Azerbaijan nor Turkey have come to terms with the results of the Tavush operations and will attempt to retaliate at an opportune moment. At least, they will try. The statements made by the Minister of Defense of Armenia and the Chief of the General Staff about the readiness of the troops indicate that the military department fully understands the seriousness of the situation and is taking corresponding steps and measures.

Following the events in Tavush, the Prime Minister of Armenia provided assessments during a cabinet meeting regarding the occurrences and their consequences. The diagnosis was correct; however, it must be followed by actions. The issue is not whether the Turkish-Azerbaijani strike will occur in 10 days, 1 month, or 1 year. It is evident that the operations that unfolded in Tavush have not been completely resolved, and our eastern and western neighbors are at least apparently active in political and military movements, which at this stage is manifested in joint exercises. We must act swiftly.'
