Armenian Cemetery Defiled in Ankara, Remains Dismantled

The Armenian cemetery belonging to the Holy Savior and St. Forty Martyrs churches in the Sincan district of Turkey's capital, Ankara, has been devastated. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
Mustafa Yeneroğlu, Vice President of the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA) founded by former Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, addressed Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş regarding this issue. He reported that remains have been removed from graves in the cemetery and human bones are scattered everywhere.
Yeneroğlu emphasized that this is a disgraceful situation and the remains should be reburied immediately, and the cemetery should be restored to order. The mayor of Ankara also stated that they are addressing this issue.
