A Protester from Ekmalyan Near the Government fell Ill

Today, August 13th, a resident of Ekmalyan Street, who was participating in a protest near the government building, fell ill and required an ambulance. The woman arrived in a wheelchair. Shortly after her arrival, her condition deteriorated, prompting a call for emergency medical assistance.

According to residents of Ekmalyan, the woman has been under their care for a long time. They expressed their frustration that they are unable to obtain even the necessary medications from the ministry as required. “Ms. Desuden Batoyan is obliged to provide the medications for Shushanika Vardanyan. For a year now, medications have been prescribed, but they are not being supplied to a first-degree disabled person. She has suffered several strokes and needs medication. There is even no water at home; how can we manage? I am appealing to the decent guys, because we have neither a Prime Minister nor a Minister of Health nor Social Security,” they said.

Residents of Ekmalyan, who have lost their homes for 15 years, regularly hold protests demanding a resolution to their issues.
