465 Citizens Under Home Quarantine in Shirak Province
As of August 13 at 11:30 AM, there are 25 patients receiving treatment for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 19 of whom are residents of Shirak Province. This information has been provided by the Shirak Provincial Administration.
Since March 1, a total of 8,575 tests have been conducted in the healthcare facilities of Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Between May 12 and August 12, 7,221 examinations were performed in Gyumri, with 7 new cases of coronavirus confirmed on August 12.
As of today, there are 465 citizens under home quarantine in the province, with 102 of them testing positive and asymptomatic. These individuals are monitored by the primary health care system.
A total of 511 residents of Shirak Province have been discharged from the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital after recovering from the virus. Additionally, 53 patients have been transferred to the capital city, and there have been 37 recorded deaths.
