There is a likelihood of a second wave of coronavirus outbreak related to the reopening of schools: Avinyan

The right to freedom of assembly is being restored, and there are no other restrictions except for adherence to anti-epidemic rules, such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Rescue Service Tigran Avinyan during a special session of the National Assembly.

He emphasized that there will be neither time nor quantitative restrictions.

MP Arthur Hovhannisyan from the 'My Step' faction inquired whether the risks have been calculated, as changing weather conditions could reactivate the virus, and in this regard, does holding gatherings and events, along with an increase in the number of participants, pose risks or not?

Tigran Avinyan noted that certainly, every relaxation carries certain risks of increasing epidemic numbers, and the Government is trying to pursue a "balanced policy regarding relaxations as much as possible."
