New Self-Isolation Rules Established: Tigran Avinyan
From now on, a person entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia, if they do not exhibit symptoms and have not been hospitalized, can choose to self-isolate for a period of 14 days or undergo an PCR test during self-isolation and exit self-isolation if they receive a negative result.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Crisis Management State Administration Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page. In his post, he stated: "From now on, a person entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia, if they do not exhibit symptoms and have not been hospitalized, can choose to self-isolate for 14 days or undergo an PCR test during self-isolation and exit if they receive a negative result."
Additionally, sampling for testing can only be conducted at the location of the individuals (during self-isolation) through visits by laboratory staff. Moreover, a negative test result obtained abroad does not exempt incoming individuals from the requirement to self-isolate.
