Veolia Water Proposes to Keep Drinking Water Supply and Drainage Rates Unchanged

Veolia Water LLC has proposed to the Public Services Regulatory Commission to keep the rates for drinking water supply and drainage services unchanged for the year 2021. This proposal has been published on the official website of the commission.

The application states that the total amount of retail service rates for drinking water supply and drainage is 179.283 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT), which reflects a 0.4% difference from the rates effective in 2020.

According to the commission’s decision, based on the terms of the license granted to Veolia Water LLC, if the difference between the calculated retail service rates for any accounting year and the existing rates does not exceed 0.5%, the current service rates for that accounting year are confirmed. In light of this, the company requests that the existing rates be maintained for 2021.

Current and Proposed Rates:

• Retail drinking water supply service rate: 153 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT)
• Retail drainage service rate: 27 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT)
• Wholesale drinking water supply service rate: 36 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT)
• Wholesale drainage service rate: 18 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT)
• The rate for the underground water drainage service provided by the Yerevan Metro named after Karen Demirchyan: 11.031 AMD per cubic meter (including VAT)
