Gagik Tsarukyan's Defenders Submit Cassation Complaint

The defenders of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, have submitted a complaint to the Cassation Court against the decision of the Court of Appeals. This information was shared with Sputnik Armenia by Tsarukyan's attorney, Smbat Minasian.

“We filed the complaint yesterday evening, as today was the last day to appeal the decision made by the Court of Appeals. There are points in the Appeals Court's ruling that do not align with our views. This relates to overcoming immunity, political persecution, the legality of initiating criminal proceedings, and the basis for reasonable suspicion,” Minasian stated.
