Three Days After Beirut Explosion, Rescuers Pull People from Rubble
Following the horrific explosion at the port of Beirut, Lebanese military personnel have found a surviving woman who spent three days trapped under the rubble. This was reported by the TASS agency.
Footage of the weakened woman’s rescue emerged on social media on Friday. It was noted that just hours earlier, a young boy had been pulled from the wreckage of a residential building.
Earlier, a port worker, who was swept into the sea by the explosion, was successfully located and rescued after spending 30 hours in the water. The bodies of the deceased are also being discovered kilometers away from the shore. Dozens of people are still reported missing.
It was mentioned that one of the local families is searching for their son, who managed to call his uncle to inform that he was trapped under the rubble; moments later, the connection was lost.
