Exclusive Footage of Brawl and Murder in Akhalkalaki

Exclusive footage of the brawl and murder that took place in Akhalkalaki has been published online, leading to the arrest of a 27-year-old Armenian.

Disorders began in Akhalkalaki following the murder of Vardik Marabyan, a resident of the village of Kulikham. Villagers recounted that for years, familial disputes had arisen between the Gabrielyans and the Marabyans from two different villages.

The suspect in the murder is a resident of the village of Diliska, son of the Gabrielyans living in Akhalkalaki.

In the aftermath of the murder, several properties belonging to the Gabrielyans—specifically a hotel complex and restaurant, as well as several houses associated with Gabrielyan's allies—were set on fire in various parts of the city.
