40 People Registered to Come to Armenia from Lebanon, Says Zareh Sinanyan

There are registered Lebanese Armenians at the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon who wish to come to Armenia and live there. Zareh Sinanyan, the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, stated this during a conversation with reporters at Zvartnots International Airport.

“The people registered at the embassy have been divided into several categories. The first category includes those who openly want to come to Armenia but cannot come due to their circumstances,” said Sinanyan.

The Chief Commissioner noted that the number of Lebanese Armenians who expressed a desire to come to Armenia and are registered at the embassy is 40. He explained that the other categories of registered individuals are more numerous. “These are people who want to come to Armenia but cannot do so right now because they want to resolve their real estate issues, or they want to clarify the situation regarding their properties after the devastation,” elaborated the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
