Explosive Cargo Seized from Ship Detonated in Beirut

An ammonium substance has exploded in the port of Beirut, as announced by Lebanon's Minister of Interior, Mohammad Fahmi. This information was reported by TASS.

At the same time, according to the Al-Mayadeen television channel, law enforcement officials stated that "the smuggled cargo of explosives seized from one of the ships has been detonated, which had been stored in a warehouse at the port for further processing or destruction over the years."
