VIDEO: Roots of Cut Tree Being Removed in Mashtots Park

Environmentalist Levon Galustyan has posted a video on his Facebook page showing how the roots of a cut tree are being removed in the area where a café is under construction in Mashtots Park.

It is important to note that during the previous administration, citizens protested against the decision to carry out construction works in the specified area. Among them was current Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, who, having set aside his previous activism, is now silent.

Earlier, MP Sophia Hovsepyan addressed the issue, stating: "We no longer have the strength to fight, so take this opportunity and eliminate the last beautiful pieces of Yerevan."
