Video: Police Discover 852 Cannabis Plants and 144 Grams of Marijuana in Getapnya Resident's Home

On July 29, officers from the Masis Police Department received operational information that a 49-year-old resident of the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region was growing cannabis on his property and storing dried marijuana in his home. The Public Relations Department of the Police of Armenia reported that criminal investigators visited the specified address to verify the information and observed the cannabis plants growing in the yard through the open gate.

As a result of the investigation carried out based on this information, a search was conducted in the house's premises, revealing 852 cannabis bushes measuring between 1 to 3 meters in height. Additionally, approximately 144 grams of dried cannabis were found in various parts of the yard.

The confiscated substances have been sent for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
