Fire on the Roof of a Building

On July 26, at 03:52, the Emergency Management National Center received a report of smoke observed on the roof of a building located at 5 Independence Street in Ijevan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service.

Two firefighting teams from the Tavush Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The firefighters contained the fire by 04:40 and extinguished it by 06:42. On the building's roof, approximately 250 square meters of household items (about 30 square meters), one water tank, two support columns, and wooden structural elements of the roof (about 40 square meters) were burned.
