COVID-19 Testing in France to Become Free

The French authorities are making COVID-19 testing free of charge due to an increase in reported infection cases following the lifting of anti-epidemic restrictions.

"We do not classify this as a second wave of coronavirus, but it is clear that in recent days there has been an increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases, whereas there was a trend of decline over the previous 13 weeks," stated French Health Minister Olivier Véran.
