"No Harassment Allowed": Armenian Criminal Authorities in Russia Give Ultimatum to Azerbaijanis - Zohrap Eghanyan

The former advisor to the president of the Football Federation of Armenia, Zohrap Eghanyan, writes on his Facebook page:

“I have written several times about the Armenian 'criminals.' They can often resolve major issues more quickly and effectively than bureaucrats working through state channels. Armenian authorities in Russia hold significant influence in particular cities and entire regions. As I understand from personal connections, our guys have placed an ultimatum that if the leaders of the Azerbaijani community cannot control their weaknesses, then it will be a ‘no harassment allowed’ situation.

As additional information, I would like to mention that thanks to the influence of these authorities, it was possible to prevent Armenian-Azerbaijani clashes years ago in Ukraine, when our side had severely punished the Azerbaijanis, who then gathered particularly in Lviv. At that time, our ambassador in Ukraine also played a significant role.

Armenians are especially influential in the southern regions of Russia and the areas near the Black Sea, from where Azerbaijani trucks pass through.

P.S. Organized crime exists and will continue to exist. Intelligent states ‘utilize’ it for the benefit of their own nation. For example, the USA leveraged the connections of the Italian mafia and successfully landed troops on the island of Sicily in 1944.”
