NSS Reveals Attempts by Azerbaijani Special Services to Obtain Information

The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia has disclosed that employees of the special services of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been using mobile phone numbers from various Armenian mobile operators to make phone calls to citizens of Armenia. Under the pretext of conducting independent research, they allegedly carry out social surveys pertaining to the situation in Armenia, particularly in the armed forces, in an effort to gather intelligence.

Specifically, such phone calls have been recorded from the mobile numbers 094-39-75-95 and 093-52-72-08.

The National Security Service urges Armenian citizens not to establish contact, share information, or respond to suspicious phone calls. Citizens are advised to answer questions about independent research only after verifying the identity of the caller and being assured of their legitimacy.
