Confrontation Between Seyran Ohanyan and Another Individual: What Was Said
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that former Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan has been summoned for questioning twice as part of a criminal case in which he is accused of misappropriating particularly large sums of property, amounting to over 3 million dollars.
According to our sources, a confrontation has also taken place in connection with the opened criminal case with another individual, whose identity remains unknown. However, we learned that during the confrontation, both parties have maintained their opinions and insisted on their viewpoints. Interestingly, the individual with whom the confrontation occurred did not claim that Seyran Ohanyan had committed any misappropriation or wastage.
The "Zhoghovurd" newspaper attempted to obtain comments from former Minister Seyran Ohanyan's lawyer, Karen Mejlumyan, but he merely stated that the charges are baseless and did not wish to comment further.
It should be noted that this is the second criminal case against Ohanyan, who is also accused of undermining the constitutional order in relation to the March 1 case. Furthermore, it’s important to highlight that former Minister Seyran Ohanyan does not accept this charge either. Thus, it turns out that there are currently two criminal cases opened against the former minister, but he denies both, and the processes are ongoing.
