Georgia's Foreign Ministry Responds to Azerbaijani Disinformation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has rejected information disseminated by Azerbaijani media regarding the alleged import of mortars from Serbia to Armenia through Georgian territory. The ministry characterized these statements as an attempt to mislead the public, stating that this is disinformation.
“One of the Azerbaijani media outlets has spread disinformation. I regret that an Azerbaijani ‘serious’ online publication does not objectively describe the facts, misleads the public, and attempts to tarnish Georgian-Azerbaijani partnership and friendship,” the statement reads.
Despite this statement, the Serbian ambassador was summoned today to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
