CSTO Addresses Margarita Simonyan's Article Posted on Its Page
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has announced that an article by Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Russia Today, was posted on its official social media pages due to a technical error. The statement emphasizes that the article fully contradicts the official position of the CSTO Secretariat.
“The posting of Margarita Simonyan's article on the CSTO Secretariat's page was due to a technical error, and the post has been immediately removed. The author's opinion completely contradicts the official position of the CSTO Secretariat,” the statement reads.
The CSTO also notes that its stance on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border situation was expressed in a statement made on July 14, which is available on the organization's official website.
