Hooliganism in Shahumyan Village: One Participant Pulls Out a Gun and Fires During a Brawl

On July 17, officers from the Artashat police department detained three men on suspicion of hooliganism. It was revealed that around 2:00 PM, they had a dispute in Shahumyan village over a monetary issue, which escalated into a physical altercation.

During the fight, one of them struck another on the head with an object in his hand. That individual then retrieved a pneumatic gun from his vehicle and aimed it at the others. However, a 64-year-old man intervened and managed to take the gun from him.

The man later presented himself at the Artashat police department and handed over the firearm, which has been sent for examination. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation, and materials are being prepared.
