Major Accident in Kotayk Province: 3 Dead, 1 Injured

Today, on July 16, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 12:45 PM, vehicles of Nissan Tiida and Mercedes Viano brands collided on the 45 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person died on the spot, while three others were transported to the 'Hrazdan' medical center by ambulance. Unfortunately, two of the injured also succumbed to their injuries on the way.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Kotayk regional investigative department based on Article 242, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code. The police and the investigative division are working to determine the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
