VIDEO: Seven Police Officers Injured and Sixteen Vehicles Damaged During a Protest in Baku

Criminal cases have been initiated in connection with the protest that took place near the parliament building in Baku. According to Azerbaijani media reports citing the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the protest, "a group of provocateurs grossly violated public order, used force, and resisted law enforcement officers."

Protesters reportedly threw stones at police officers, resulting in injuries to seven police officers who sustained varying degrees of physical harm, and also damaging 16 service vehicles.
