Soldiers Killed by Enemy Fire

In the photos taken today, July 14, in the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the soldiers who lost their lives due to enemy fire are Captain Sos Paylaki Elbakyan and Major Garush Vemiri Hambardzumyan.

In a conversation with ArmDally.am, the Bazum community administration stated that they have no detailed information.

Garush Hambardzumyan is from the Bazum community in Lori Province, born in 1989. “He is registered in the Sivashak village, we personally do not know him, as it is only in recent years that Sivashak village has joined our territory, and we do not know its residents very well. We only know that he is married and has a child,” said the community administration.

Captain Garush Hambardzumyan graduated from the Military University named after V. Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. He obtained a specialty in sapper and was appointed as commander of the engineer-sapper platoon of Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. In 2015, he was appointed as the commander of the engineer-sapper company of Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

Garush Hambardzumyan is strict with his personnel and is endowed with organizational skills. Loving his profession, he has acquired sufficient knowledge to adequately fulfill his official duties through diligent daily work. He has been encouraged multiple times by the command.
