Aigepat Village Under Shelling: Seven Houses Damaged, Emergency Services Combat Fires
The armed forces of Azerbaijan have shelled Aigepat village in the Tavush region. This is reported by the ‘Hetq’ correspondents working on-site.
As a result of the shelling, seven houses have been damaged. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working to extinguish the fires ignited by the shelling.
Residents of the lower districts of Aigepat have been evacuated to safe locations. The residents remain calm, and there is no panic among them.
Also present in Aigepat are Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan and the leader of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
