User Spreading False Information Has Had Their Account Hacked, Identity Confirmed Shortly After
On July 13, the Criminal Police Department received reports that a user on the social media platform Facebook was spreading false information, claiming that the Armenian side had suffered numerous casualties in Tavush.
Thanks to the urgent measures taken by the cybercrime unit of the Criminal Police Department, the user's identity was confirmed in a short time. Preliminary investigations revealed that the user's account had been hacked and false information disseminated.
The police urge everyone to strictly follow only official news sources.
