The European Union calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to cease confrontation and take measures to calm the situation.
“The EU urges both sides to stop armed confrontations, refrain from actions and rhetoric that provoke tension, and take immediate steps to prevent escalation,” a statement from the EU press service said.
