Vstrechi Apera Transferred to Armavir Penitentiary

This morning, at 7 AM, Vstrechi Apera, also known as Aram Vardanian, was arrested at his home. He had been on the run for nearly four months and was wanted, according to hraparak.am.

The case involving Vstrechi Apera is under the jurisdiction of the Investigative Committee’s Department for Especially Important Cases. In response to Hraparak.am’s inquiry, the Investigative Committee confirmed the news of the arrest.

The head of the committee’s press department, Rima Yeghanyan, informed us that as a result of joint operations conducted by the Investigative Committee and the police in connection with the criminal case being investigated by the main department of the Investigative Committee for particularly important cases, the suspect, Aram Vardanian, who had been wanted, was discovered during a search of his residence.

Aram Vardanian has been charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia and has been transferred to the Armavir penitentiary.
