Vstrechi Ape Arrested

This morning at 7 AM, Vstrechi Ape, also known as Aram Vardanyan, was arrested at his home. He had been on the run for nearly 4 months and was wanted by law enforcement. For some time, he was in Georgia but decided to return yesterday, telling friends that he missed his grandson. He was arrested right at his residence.

He has been under investigation for about 2 years. Recently, law enforcement agencies announced that the basis for the amnesty applied to him was tied to a decision regarding paternity for a newborn. Genetic analysis had been conducted, which revealed that he is not the child's father.
