Noah Defeats Ararat-Armenia and Claims the Armenia Cup
In the final of the Armenia Football Cup, Noah faced off against Ararat-Armenia. The most effective and surprising final of the Armenia Cup took place without spectators.
The scoring was opened by Ugocukwu Luis Oganan in the 9th minute. In the 24th minute, Alan Tataev scored an own goal after a deflection from a teammate. In the 29th minute, Yusuf Otubanjo extended the lead.
Maxim Mayrovich reduced the deficit in the 39th minute, but two minutes later, Luis Oganan recorded a double. At halftime, Ararat-Armenia was leading 4-1, and it seemed everything was settled in the match.
However, in the second half, everything turned upside down. Vladimir Azarov reduced the difference in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Mikhail Kovalenko made it 3-4. Then, in the 67th minute, Danu Spataru equalized the score at 4-4. The match went into extra time.
In the 114th minute, Vladimir Azarov scored Noah's fifth goal, but just when it seemed everything was settled, Ararat-Armenia also scored their fifth goal. The extra time ended with a score of 5-5.
In the post-match penalty shootout, Noah's players showed more precision, winning 7-6 on penalties. Thus, Noah claims the Vbet Armenia Cup. This marks the first title for the newly established club.
