Major Traffic Accident in Vayots Dzor Region: Condition of 2 out of 4 Injured is Critical

A major traffic accident occurred today, July 11, in the Vayots Dzor region. At approximately 20:40, cars from Kia and Opel collided head-on on the 117 km section of the Yerevan-Jerash highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan on the scene, 4 individuals were injured, 2 of whom are in critical condition and have been transferred to the 'Yeghegnadzor' medical center.

As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles' gas cylinder was dislodged and ejected. The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured.
