Today, the Market Surveillance Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia carried out extensive monitoring in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan and at ‘Arinj Mall’. During the inspections, several violations were discovered at the sales outlets for construction materials, clothing, and consumer goods at ‘Arinj Mall’. In particular, there were no markings to ensure social distancing, nor were there thermometers and temperature measurement logs present.

The identified deficiencies at the trading points were rectified on site. Substantial violations were not found among the operators functioning in the Shengavit administrative district.

Reports regarding all observed violations are being drafted and submitted to the security authority. The monitoring process continues throughout the Republic of Armenia by representatives of the Market Surveillance Inspection Body.

It is recalled that the Market Surveillance Inspection Body is conducting continuous monitoring in shopping centers, fairs, construction stores, and retail outlets selling liquid fuel, compressed natural gas, or liquefied petroleum gases, in accordance with the decree No. 63 issued by the Prime Minister on May 3.

Compliance with the norms established by the Prime Minister is being verified on site.
