VIDEO: I Believe the Suitability of Naira Zohrabyans's Position Should Be Discussed - Suren Grigoryan

No one has the right to violate people's rights, including the chairman of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Issues. This was stated today, July 10, by Suren Grigoryan during a Facebook live Q&A session of the 'Civil Contract' party, responding to a user's question regarding whether Naira Zohrabyan, as the chair of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Issues, has the right to violate human rights and what punishment she deserves or if she corresponds to her position.

“No one has the right to violate people's rights, including the chairman of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Issues. The issue is that I believe such behavior from the chair of that committee is particularly shameful and casts doubt on how well that person can carry out their mission if they are among the first to exhibit such behavior towards those whom they should be combating legally. Given this conduct, I believe the suitability of her position should be discussed,” Grigoryan noted.

When asked whether they plan to discuss this issue, Suren Grigoryan added that this process cannot go unnoticed: “When this issue is discussed, the public will be informed about it.”
