Stabbing in Yerevan: Man Hospitalized in Unconscious State
On July 9, a stabbing incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 22:40, the Shengavit Medical Center notified the Shengavit police department that a man had been admitted with stab wounds and was in an unconscious state. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
A police operational group led by the head of the Shengavit department, Arthur Shmavonyan, along with a team from the Yerevan Investigative Committee’s Shengavit Investigative Department, headed by Vardanyan, rushed to the hospital.
Authorities discovered that the victim is 45-year-old Arsen P., a resident of Aragats Street. According to medical reports, he is unable to explain the circumstances of the incident.
While the medical staff was fighting for the victim's life, the Shengavit police and investigators determined that Arsen P. had been stabbed about 20 minutes before arriving at the hospital during a dispute with an unidentified person in the courtyard of his building.
In connection with the incident, senior investigator Avagyan is preparing materials for the investigative department. The police and the investigative division are undertaking the necessary operational and investigative joint actions aimed at solving the crime, identifying the perpetrator(s), and finding the weapon used in the crime.
