Middle-aged Man Jumps from Kyiv Bridge; Body Retrieved from River

Today, July 9, a suicide incident occurred in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 22:20, a middle-aged man jumped from the Kyiv Bridge, taking his own life.

Operative officers from the 3rd Battalion of the Patrol Service of the Yerevan Police arrived promptly at the scene, conducting operations until the investigative group from the Mashtots Police Department arrived.

Currently, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations have retrieved the body from the Hrazdan River using special ropes. Investigators from the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia are working on-site, focusing on the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the deceased. A unit from the Main Department of Protection of the Police of the Republic, led by the head of the Arabkir Protection Division, Karen Grigoryan, has also arrived at the location.

Investigative materials are being prepared on this case in the investigative division of the Yerevan Investigative Department regarding the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts.
