VIDEO: Paving Workers in Gegharkunik Correct Past Deficiencies Before Receiving New Payments

The Governor of Gegharkunik, Gnel Sanosyan, went live on Facebook from the village of Gegharkunik. He recalled that some subsidized programs initiated in 2019 have not been completed due to certain issues.

“We had five asphalt paving projects that had specific quality-related problems. The contractors were obliged to rectify these issues before payment could be made. Here, the contractor has committed to fully laying a new layer of asphalt. As a result, we now have a 5+5 cm layer. I can say that the work is now done with sufficient quality. This work will be accepted by the relevant commission, and in this case, we will pay the contractor. We have faced similar problems in Gandzak, Vardenis, Chambarak, and Vardenik. Deficiencies in those areas have also been corrected or are currently being addressed. I urge our contractors to perform quality work so that they can be paid,” said Gnel Sanosyan.
