«Hraparak». Tensions Rise Between Former Republican MP's Son and Masis Mayor's Brother

«Hraparak» newspaper reports that a brawl occurred in Masis city between Gori, the brother of the well-known Masis Mayor David Hambardzumyan, who was a former member of the Republican Party and is now active among revolutionaries, and Nver Muradyan, the son of former Republican MP Murad Muradyan.

The verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight. The police detained eight individuals, including Gori Hambardzumyan and his associates, known by nicknames such as Zibili Gorik and Khuchuch Karen. Nver, Muradyan's son, was also apprehended.

After taking statements, they were released. We could not ascertain the reason for the incident; however, it is known that there have been hostile relations between these two groups for a considerable time. The police reported that materials are being prepared regarding the incident at the Masis police station, but did not provide further details.
