Firefighters Extinguish Blazes Covering Grasslands, Totaling Approximately 21 Hectares

On July 6, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 24 calls regarding fires that broke out in various grassland areas across the republic, affecting approximately 200 square meters and more. Specifically:

• In the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan: 700 sq. m and 2000 sq. m
• In the Davtashen administrative district: 600 sq. m
• In the Avan administrative district: 500 sq. m and 2000 sq. m
• In the Erebuni administrative district: 7 hectares
• In the Shengavit administrative district: 3000 sq. m
• In the Nor Nork administrative district: 1500 sq. m
• In the Aragatsotn region, in the town of Ashtarak: 300 sq. m
• In the Ararat region, in the village of Armash: 1300 sq. m
• In the village of Dalar: 3000 sq. m
• In the town of Masis: 1000 sq. m
• In the summer cottages of Nor Kharberd: 5000 sq. m
• In the town of Armavir, Armavir region: 1500 sq. m and 400 sq. m
• In the village of Geghakert: 2000 sq. m
• In the village of Arevshat: 4 hectares
• In the town of Yeghvard, Kotayk region: 2 hectares, 500 sq. m, and 200 sq. m
• In the village of Kanakeravan: 500 sq. m
• In the village of Chiva, Vayots Dzor region: 5 hectares
• Along the Yerevan-Artashat highway: 3000 sq. m
• Along the Ejmiadzin-Ashtarak highway: 1500 sq. m

The firefighters have isolated and extinguished the blazes.
