Alashkert Defeats Lori FA and Secures Last UEFA Europa League Spot

In the final match of the 27th round of the Armenian Premier League, Yerevan's Alashkert confidently defeated Vanadzor's Lori FA with a score of 5:1 on home turf.

The scoring opened in the 4th minute with a goal from Nigerian forward Ivo Ugochukwu for the visitors. However, the home team quickly responded. Just six minutes later, Galvao equalized for Alashkert. In the third minute of the second half, Kamaran put Alashkert ahead.

Bosnian Alexander Glisic then scored twice, extending the lead further. In the 2nd minute of added time, Eduard Avagyan netted the fifth goal for Lori FA's net, sealing the final score.

With this victory, Alashkert earned 44 points, clinching the 4th position in the standings. The team secured a spot in the UEFA Europa League, having rendered it inaccessible for Lori FA.

The last, 28th round of the championship will take place on July 14. Ararat-Armenia and Noah will battle for the title, Shirak will compete for the 2nd and 3rd places, while Alashkert aims for only the 3rd spot.
