1045 Citizens Under Home Quarantine in Shirak

As of July 7 at 11:30 AM, there are 67 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, of whom 65 are residents of Shirak Province. This was reported by the Shirak Regional Administration.

From March 1 to the present, a total of 5,203 tests have been conducted in the healthcare institutions of Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to July 6, 3,849 tests were conducted in Gyumri alone, with 45 new cases of coronavirus confirmed on July 6.

Currently, there are 1,045 citizens under home quarantine in the province, with 263 of them having positive diagnoses but asymptomatic. Monitoring is carried out by primary health care authorities.

A total of 320 residents of Shirak Province have recovered and been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 43 patients were transferred to the capital. There have been 24 recorded deaths.
