Video: Stabbing Incident in Artik Revealed; Young Man Stabbed by His Mother's Uncle

On July 5, a 21-year-old man was transported to the "Gyumri" medical center from Tumanyan Street in Artik with a stab wound. The injury was located on the left side of his chest. This information was reported by the Armenian police.

Prior to the hospital alert, criminal investigators from Artik had received information about the incident. An operational team arrived at the scene and uncovered the stabbing incident with fresh evidence.

According to investigators, a domestic dispute had occurred in the backyard of a home, during which the young man was stabbed.

Artik police identified the suspect: he was the victim's mother's uncle. The 49-year-old resident of Artik was located and taken into custody on the same day as the incident.

Further investigations led to the discovery of the knife, which is preliminarily considered the weapon used in the crime. Expert examinations have been initiated. The circumstances are currently being clarified.
